Daily Thought: “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma - which is living the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” - Steve Jobs

Daily Thought: “Promise me you’ll always remember: you’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. Christopher Robin to Pooh.” - A.A. Milne
Daily Flower: Paloverde - “It is my soil, my scared ground, that I bring to your awareness, your own inner sanctuary. By connecting within, you become more alligned with universal earth laws as opposed to man-made laws. This allows you to tap into your wisdom, the wisdom that is already inherent within you. Authentic wisdom is not based on outside conditions or what others tell you, but it is a wisdom that comes from within. As you go through life planting seeds of wisdom in your choices and your relations, you will soon discover the value of making wiser choices in your life. You will take into consideration the larger whole. Sometimes one’s decisions may draw unwanted consequences, yet based on a deeper connection within your self, you may experience the inherent wisdom of a lesson learned. If you truly made a connection, the outcome would be based more on self-authenticity and aligned with who you are. As you walk in harmony on then earth, you are reenacting your role as a cocreator to sustain earth life. This is the foundation of grace in the world and the wisdom from which it survives.” - Voices of Flowers

During our recent stay at the Southwest Inn at Sedona we ate dinner at a new restaurant called Sequel located just 1/2 mile away from the Inn. Sequel is a nice, breezy restaurant offering a pleasant change from the usual in the area. It is contemporary and modern, decorated with hues of the dessert and accented with brilliant red chairs. The menu is a generous one, with a number of Southwestern options. The food is beautifully presented and moderately priced, and portions are not excessive. The service was just great! They have a small and very tasteful bar area. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Sequel.
